My New Year's Resolutions for 2021

Like many, I’m looking forward to the New Year and setting new goals and milestones personally and professionally. I think now more than ever, I’m ready for things to “go back to normal” while learning how to make safer, healthier decisions while I’m in public.

To be more accountable, I’m going to share my new year’s resolutions as a way to reinforce good habits. However, instead of creating five new resolutions that are difficult to reach, I’m going to build on what I’ve accomplished in 2020 to gradually get better in 2021.

Here are my 2021 New Year’s Resolutions:

  • Read/Listen to two books/month.
  • Consume one alcoholic drink/month.
  • Continue to exercise three times/week.
  • Limit screen time on my personal phone to 1.5 hours/day.
  • Write once/day Monday through Friday.

I hope everyone has a safe and healthy 2021. Here’s hoping I stick to these and this “accountability booster” works.
